And though at first I was younger than Harry, I am now 17, the same age as HP in the DH. Although I hated waiting, I'm glad I had to, the age really helped me, not only understand-- but cope. My only problem now is separating HP from the real world :P I was nine when I got the first Harry Potter book, and I grew up with him, I had to wait for the fourth, fifth, six, and seventh ones to come out. Well done for being able to read a book which is meant to be read by a 13 year old. The reviewer is obviously saying that this book may not be suitable for a 13 year old as it contains dark themes. This doesn't mean that a 13 year old may not understand it. It's saying that not all 13 year olds are interested in torture and death.
