DVD Conversion Works!
Thanks to Tosa SERBIAN, and his MPEG2 Works software, I can convert my VRO files trivially.

What is really amazing is that he created some special functionality just for me. It turns out that his VR_MOVIE.VRO file conversion wasn't quite right for the format that Hitachi uses. It was possible to convert using his tools, but it took a few steps and was a bit manual. With the new converter, I just plug in my VRO file and click "Convert." That's all there is to it.
These tools can do practically everything with practically every kind of file. They require that you buy Apple's QuickTime Pro ($20) and their MPEG-2 Playback Component ($10), and then you need to buy his tool (another $10). In the end, you've got all the conversions you could ever want for a measly $40. I think it's a fantastic deal. I couldn't be happier.

Hello Paco! I’m also frustrated at trying to make use of my stupid camera- Hitachi MV238E !
But I even don’t know how to acquire my video! When I connect the cam to my i mac , I only see it in the System Profiler, as “Hitachi DVD CAM 2xxseries”. And then? I have used dvd-ram, so I can’t simply put it in my Superdrive…How did you manage this? Whith all my hope -Katerina

I am using Blue/White G3 upgraded to G4, with ‘sonnet’ and OS 9.1 I want connect my DVD video camcorder HITACHI DZ-MV100A whith USB cable. HOW CAN I IMPORT VIDEO? When I connect the cam to my Mac, says the USB device software is not available. Please help me to get the video on my desktop….

My 8 cm dvd-video-ram disks are perfectly read by a panasonic/matshusita dvd ram recorder/player on my pc it’s type is DV-211…

Hi,Paco! I have a camera- Hitachi MV238E. But I can not use still pictures beacause I don’t have USB cable driver to connect the camera with computer. This camera is gift from my freind from HongKong. I can not find any shop near my city sale this kind camera and any thing about it.(I am in CHINA) I only find a USB cable of sony digital camera fit it. But I don’t have driver for it. Can you sent the driver of this camera to me. Please help me! I thank you in advance.
